Is it worth hiring a garden designer?
Planning space around a home or commercial premises is a challenge that combines architecture, biology, and logistics. Many people ask me: is it worth hiring a garden designer? The answer depends on whether you want seasonal decoration or a lasting system. At skwer.pl I believe a good garden rests on solid structure and respects the owner’s time.
Experience in a demanding coastal climate
The coast places special demands on the designer: strong winds, variable salinity, and sandy soils. I have successfully tested my design approach in prestigious locations across the region. Browar Folga in Gryfice is an example where structure meets commercial functionality. At Folga Resort in Mrzeżyno I showed that modern greenery can work perfectly with the coastal landscape and historic architecture. These projects prove that I understand local conditions in depth.
How to design a functional garden?
In my approach, plants are only one element. What matters most is garden structure — its “skeleton” that stays attractive for all 12 months of the year.
- Species selection: For sunny coastal sites I choose hardy plants such as hornbeam. In damp corners I use colourful, easy-care dogwoods.
- Logistics: With precise calculations I optimise transport costs to places such as Darłówko, Mrzeżyno, and Gryfice.
Building with respect for time: how much maintenance does it take?
Time is the one resource you cannot buy more of. My goal is to create a space that needs minimum care for maximum effect. I use high-quality mulching and smart systems so the garden “works on its own” and you can enjoy your free time.
